3 Days Tour New Year in Marrakech
Day 1: MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - GORGES DE DADES
The tour will start with the discovery of the High Atlas and the Berber villages. You will pass from Tizi n'Tichka, the highest road of Morocco (2260m) and the only direct passage that will lead you to Ouarzazate and all the region of the Southeast. The first stop will be the Kasbah of Ait benhadou through the heights of the Ounila valley. The latter offers spectacular landscapes of ochre villages, abandoned kasbahs, orchards and Ksours. The Kasbah Ait Benhadou: site recommended by the World Heritage of Unesco. Lunch at the Kasbah and continuation to the gateway to the desert and the city of cinema Ouarzazate where you will visit the museum and the cinema studio. Then we will continue to the Dades Gorge through the rose city of Kelaat-Megouna and the Valley of Roses where we will spend the first night in Dades..
Day 2: GORGES DE DADES -TINGHIR - GORGES DE TODRA – MERZOUGA
After a breakfast, you will take the road to Merzouga. You will pass from the Todra gorges, starting point of the hikes towards the culminating mountains of the High Atlas. Then you will visit the site and continue to Merzouga through several nomadic Berber villages. On arrival, you will borrow the camels to start your ride in the desert through the wonderful dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the evening, you will enjoy the beautiful sunset before leaving for the bivouac where you will spend your night after a dinner around the campfire in Merzouga.
Day 3: MERZOUGA - Risani- MARRAKECH
Very early in the morning, you will attend the sunrise and then you will return to the camp for breakfast. Your driver will take you, then, towards the discovery of the city Risani (the royal family alliouate) we visit the souk lined with palm trees and ancient casbahs. You will also pass by the village Alnif for the arrival in Ouarzazate where you will have your lunch before taking the road back to Marrakech by crossing the Tiz-Tichka Pass (2260 m) and the High Atlas Mountains.
